CAF announced its official team of the CAN 2023, with Ivory Coast dominating the list.
Notable names include Troost Ekong, adjudged the best player of the competition, Ronwen Williams, awarded best goalkeeper of the tournament, Emiliano Nsue, golden boot winner and Collins Fae for guiding his team to the ultimate trophy.
Among others, the surprising omission is the best young player of the tournament, Simon Adingra, as Congo duo Chancel Mbemba and Yoane Wissa make the final XI along with South Africa midfield maestro, Makoepa.
