Asisat Oshoala Bids Barcelona Bye; Set to Join NWSL's Bay FC

Asisat Oshoala, the talented 29-year-old Nigerian striker, is leaving Barcelona after five great years. She's now joining the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) with Bay Football Club.



Since joining Barcelona in 2019, Oshoala has been the star striker, scoring 117 goals and winning 14 trophies in 149 games. A standout achievement is being the first African player to win the UEFA Women's Champions League twice.



Beyond team successes, Oshoala has bagged the African Footballer of the Year award six times, showcasing her skills both locally and internationally.



As she starts this new chapter with Bay FC, fans are excited to see Oshoala continue her success on the soccer field in the United States. Barcelona will miss her, but the future looks bright for this football superstar.
