Chef Faila's Last Meal: A Grand Finale to the Ultimate Cookathon

The attempt by Failatu Abdul-Razak to break the Guinness World Record for a cook-a-thon is currently in its 10th day. Chef Faila, as she is popularly called, has been in the kitchen since January 1, 2024.

Originally, it was anticipated that her attempt would run for five days. In her determination to shatter the record, she decided to prolong it to ten days. She did this since she believed it would be really difficult for anyone else to do it.

An earlier announcement from Faila's husband, Captain Reginald Agyei, stated that the cook-a-thon will formally conclude at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

The medical staff and Chef Faila herself have assured us that she is still well enough to continue, but the team decided to end the cook-a-thon due to concerns for her health, Captain Reginald Agyei said in an interview with GhOne News. Her safety is my first concern.

There is no need for her to put herself through unnecessary stress, please. As an officer, I have trained other officers and gained extensive experience. Once you reach this stage, there's no turning back. I can confirm that we are officially calling it quits at this moment. Nothing is wrong with her. I'm happy to keep going with her.

The doctors and nurses have assured us that she is doing OK, but my colleagues and I believe that this has been adequately addressed. No later than tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Yes, we have made this decision, and she is not happy about it. "She promised to hear us out," he added.
