Conte's Unyielding Stance on Key Napoli Players

Napoli manager, Antonio Conte, has firmly declared that four players in the squad are not available for transfer. According to Conte, he has placed an “absolute veto” on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Stanislav Lobotka, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, and Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.

Conte emphasized the importance of these players to his strategy, stating, “Kvaratskhelia and Di Lorenzo are key players for me. I’ve been clear on this. I have placed an absolute veto for Di Lorenzo, Lobotka, Zambo Anguissa, and Kvaratskhelia.”

While these key players remain off-limits, Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is expected to leave the Serie A club this summer. Osimhen has a €150m release clause in his contract, but the Partenopei may now be ready to lower their initial valuation to €100m.

Conte’s unyielding stance on Kvaratskhelia, Lobotka, Di Lorenzo, and Zambo Anguissa demonstrates his commitment to maintaining the core strength of Napoli’s squad. By securing these essential players, Conte aims to build a formidable team capable of competing at the highest levels.

Meanwhile, the anticipated departure of Osimhen highlights a significant shift in Napoli’s transfer strategy. Reducing Osimhen’s release clause to €100m suggests a willingness to negotiate, potentially attracting more suitors in the transfer market.

This mix of stability and change is set to shape Napoli’s future. With key players retained and potential high-profile exits, Conte’s management will be crucial in navigating the upcoming season. The transfer window’s developments will be closely watched as they unfold, impacting both Napoli’s domestic and international ambitions.
