Dreams FC Makes History: Secures Semifinal Berth in CAF Confederation Cup

Dreams FC has etched their name into Ghanaian football history by clinching a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup semifinals, following a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Stade Malien.

Having secured a 2-1 victory in the first leg at the Stade 26 Mars stadium in Bamako, Dreams FC entered the match with a slender advantage.

Yoro Diaby’s 60th-minute strike ignited hopes for the visiting team, but Sylvester Simba's timely equalizer just 10 minutes later ensured the hosts' position.

With the aggregate scoreline favoring Dreams FC 3-2 after the draw at the Baba Yara Stadium, this achievement marks the club as the first Ghanaian team to reach the semifinals of the competition since Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko accomplished the feat in 2004.

Dreams FC will now await the winner of the Future FC and Zamalek tie for their next challenge in the semifinals.
