Fae Speaks on Ivory Coast Game Approach

"Tonight, it wasn't easy. We had to dig deep for this victory. With ten players, we tactically prevented them from playing their usual game," remarked Emerse Faé, coach of Côte d'Ivoire, reflecting on their hard-fought wins in the Round of 16.

"But you know, there are positive signs that give hope. And tonight, it was proven, but we need to change the way we approach games. We need to avoid being on the defensive, even though the end result is in our favor," Faé emphasized, highlighting the necessity of a strategic shift.

"For the semi-final, we will start preparing from tomorrow because DR Congo remains a strong team," Faé stated in an interview with CAF online, underlining his team's determination and recognizing the upcoming challenges.
