Zelensky Announces Return of 207 Ukrainian Captives from Russia



Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed on Wednesday that 207 Ukrainian captives have successfully returned home from Russia.

In a Telegram post, Zelensky expressed his determination, stating, "Our people are back. 207 of them. We return them home no matter what."

The President extended his gratitude to key figures involved in the release efforts, including Kyrylo Budanov, the chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, and Andriy Yermak, the head of the President’s Office.

In additional remarks on Telegram, Yermak revealed that the released individuals had served in various branches, including the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, and the National Police. The successful repatriation marks a significant achievement in the ongoing efforts to bring back captured Ukrainians.
